Falls

Perched on a hillside overlooking the cross country ski trails of Morin Heights, this expansive residence with its flat and low sloped roof stands as a true architectural statement. Anchored into the rock and supported by more than thirty tons of steel, it appears to float above the terrain, embracing the canopy of maple trees that surrounds it.

Its footprint, intentionally modest and controlled, contrasts with its bold elevation where the volumes unfold with remarkable lightness. Natural light flows through the home from one side to the other. Large openings, glazed apertures and carefully planned orientations allow every space to be bathed in daylight, creating a continuous dialogue between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

The volumetry, conceived from the inside out, conveys a clear intention: to offer fluid perspectives and a living environment that breathes. Materials were selected for their authenticity and durability, extending seamlessly from the interior palette to the exterior cladding to ensure visual and sensory coherence. A natural stone accent, applied to select architectural partitions, punctuates the composition and elevates its character.

A prestigious residence, it brings together structural robustness, purity of lines and the warmth of natural materials to create a home that is both contemporary and timeless, open to the forest and shaped by light.
