Daoust Design is a boutique studio whose intimate scale allows for a highly personal and collaborative approach, led by a team of creative and passionate women united by a shared vision of design. Under the direction of Katerine Daoust, designers, architects, collaborators and artisans combine their expertise, sensitivity and craftsmanship to create distinctive projects, both locally and internationally.
Over more than 25 years of practice, the studio has built lasting relationships with trusted artisans, makers and collaborators, many of whom have been part of the Daoust Design network for years. Woodworkers, artists, specialized craftspeople, architects and other partners become an extension of the team, selected according to the nature, location and aspirations of each project.
At the heart of this approach is a deeply human way of working, rooted in dialogue, trust and the pleasure of creating together. Each project becomes a meeting of ideas, cultures, expertise and, above all, the people who bring it to life.
Inspired by travel, architecture, art and the people they encounter along the way, the team approaches the world with curiosity and an open mind, while remaining true to the philosophy that defines Daoust Design: a thoughtful and expressive creativity grounded in rigour, from the first sketch to the smallest detail.
