Harbour

It is a place where time seems to stand still,
a space that sparked our imagination.

We were entrusted with the design of both the exterior architecture and the interior concept.
The surrounding environment inspired and guided every line we drew.
Nestled among carefully crafted homes, our intention was to create a true sense of intimacy inside, while maintaining a simple and discreet façade — allowing the stunning marine view to be fully appreciated by the owners alone.

The lines are pure and understated, and durable materials were selected to withstand the corrosive effects of saltwater.

Our creative approach was centered around sandy and bluish hues, evoking the curved shapes of sailboat hulls — a detail echoed in the ceilings of select spaces — along with lighting fixtures inspired by the graceful forms of sails and waves.

The color palette was also guided by pebbles found on the beach and dried seaweed in rich burnt-orange tones, bringing warmth and character to the ensemble.

Halifax introduced us to the richness of local artists and craftspeople from this wild and natural province.
We proposed a selection of artworks to capture the desired atmosphere.

Interior textures and added wood paneling suggest the image of a net — a metaphorical filter of light — allowing brightness to flow through a home bathed in natural light, thanks to the spectacular windows overlooking the sea.
